Why Do We Air Roast our coffee?
Air roasting allows us to create a coffee that has a never bitter taste.
Our method allows us to roast beans with hot air rather than drum roasting, where contact with a hot surface is relied on. Air roasting helps in creating a never sour or bitter taste. Along with the benefit of not charring our coffee beans, we also remove more chaff (the coffee beans skin) than drum roasters.
Air roasting is only utilized by about 1% of coffee roasters in the world.
